WITL - Sunday, the last day of WITL, wow it went by fast!

My score for last night.  Could be worse!!

It's laundry day.  We're on off peak electricity and all day Sunday is off peak.  So, I do my laundry on Sunday's to save $$.

I'll bet you can't guess what I had for breakfast? .

John did the dishes while I was getting the first load of laundry started.

The sunrise was hidden behind clouds this morning.

These bags are so handy!  One has rice inside and I'm not sure what the other one has. I keep them in the freezer and use them for pains.  This morning I sat for a while with one on my chest.  It helps with chest pains I get.

Still reading the Maze series, I'm on the second book now.  The library had them all in one ebook.

Washed the sheets this morning and got the bed all made up.  I love this quilt that Mom gave John, it makes me happy to look at it.

Once a week I wash my cpap tubes and humidifier chamber. It's easier to wash them in the shower and hang them up to dry.

I have a bunch of socks that are loose on me,  I'm giving the too big ones to John to use for rags.  This pair fits.

I saw a car next door and thinking it might be the bank people come to check on the house, went to talk to them.  It was a potential bidder, he saw the house listed on Zillow and came to check it out.  I told him all the problems and I think he decided he didn't want to bid that much.  Hope someone doesn't bid sight unseen!  The price on Zillow is higher, I wonder if that is the reserve bid?  It was somewhere around 126, 000!

My laundry earnings for oh, the past month or so, LOL!

Lunch was leftovers from last night, eaten outside on the patio.  Sure am going to miss our meals outside this winter!

After John's nap, we had peaches and milk, the peaches weren't quite ripe, so it was a bit crunchy.

John picked up the trailer he is borrowing so he can go pick up the wagon base he is going to use to put the dump wagon on

These flowers have been in bloom for several weeks now!  I love orchids.  John gave me the plant a couple years ago, I think this is the second time its bloomed.

John had a group stop by wanting to see his art.

Oops, almost forgot these again.

I love Campbells stuff.

Cloudy day, we noticed a rainbow, but it didn't show up here.

It shows up a bit here.

John mowing the lawn, he says it feels funny to mow with such a little mower now.

John just finished this, he says it's a good book.

WITL Saturday - Next door is up for sale!

The first thing I check when I get up in the morning.

The house auction is live now, but they won't let me bid lower than the $85000, nope, no way guys!  They have an ask a question and I asked if I could bid lower, wonder if they'll even answer me?

Sunrise, wow, the sun is moving to the south fast!!  At the summer solstice it was in the middle of the second tree from the left edge.

We walked this morning!  Yea for us.

Just us

We turned around at "The Water" (Nutrioso Creek.) Total walk about 1.5 miles;

Love walking here.

There is just something about trees meeting over a road that I love.  Happy I live on a street with meeting trees!

The clouds are building up.

Started book two today, The Scorch Trials

Lunch was cheese, bacon and an egg on toast.

John almost has the dumping bed finished!

Quick run to the store to pick up a few items that we are almost out of.

It started raining while John was in the store and on the way home we went through some hail.  There was lots of water on the road near us and we got a bit of hail at our house.  We sat outside on the bench and watched it rain.  Sure smells good!

We had green chili beans for supper.  We got a wild idea and added Rotel to the mix.

It was good, but we both like it better without the Rotel.

We watched Mash and Bad Ink with our supper.

After supper we walked to the corner and back, about .6 miles.

Took our Melatonin and Magnesium and off to bed.

WITL Friday - Picnic at Luna Lake

I slept a bit better last night.  I washed my nose pieces yesterday using baby shampoo and didn't use the nasogel last night and I didn't have leaks!  Even using the xs!  I wonder if the nasogel is making the mask slip or if the baby shampoo didn't leave slippery residue?  Here are my numbers for last night.

And the mask

I got an email today about the house we are watching.  They reduced the starting bid, but it's still WAY too high!  From $93000 to $85000, at least they are going the right way now, DOWN!

Sunrise, sunset, swiftly flies the week!

Pills, Blood Sugar check and BP check, I've been forgetting them this week!

Too high again.  I need to make a doctor appointment!

BP a bit high, too.

Morning cocoa water.  Don't know how I got hooked on using the Campbell's mugs, but I almost always choose one of them.

John and I discussing ways to safely fasten a grist mill stone to a wall in the museum.

The stone is heavy!  It was used in the grist mill here in RV.  My Rothlisberger great-great grandparents worked in the mill, but it was after they replaced the stones with a machine that ground the wheat using rollers.

John is taking the bend out of a piece of steel he is going to use in the fastener he's making.

I watered today. Chili plants

My sunflower, wow it's tall!

I gave John a haircut.

The bulb in my desk lamp died today, I ordered a new one but it won't be here for a week or so.  I miss the light!

We went to the museum to check out where the grist mill stone will be displayed.  John will make a plate to bolt to the wall where the nails are.

Wow, Phelps and Kay have done an awesome job with the museum, can't wait to see it completed!

My Rothlisberger great-grandparents worked in the grist mill when it used the above machinery.  The owner of the mill, John Peter Rothlisberger, paid their passage to America from Switzerland and they worked for him for a year to pay off the debt.

We drove up to Luna Lake for a picnic, we explored and checked out a part of the lake we'd never been to before.  There is a campground and a store there, we didn't know that!  The store was closed, but we looked through the windows.  We ate our lunch under a pine tree close to the store, it was so peaceful and nice!  We saw ducks swimming on the lake, little birds and big birds flying, I tried to sneak up on some big birds, I got close, but my camera card got full and I couldn't get the close-ups I was hoping for.

Dad used to take the boys fishing at Luna Lake, I wonder if they have visited this store?

On the way home the clouds kept getting darker and then we ran into rain.  In spots it was coming down hard!  Go rain!!

We hadn't gotten much here at home, but later in the afternoon we got a good steady rain!

I was tired so I laid down in the recliner with my cpap and the nook and rested and slept a bit.

The rain stopped about 4:15.  Smells wonderful outside.

After the rain we picked up rocks on StoneCrest, then John mowed a bunch of the weeds.

John loves his early birthday present!

After supper we did our usual and watched
 MASH and Bad Ink.

I caught the sunset from the shop balcony.

My legs bother me at night and I found that if I wear leg warmers they feel okay.  Lately I've added a cold rice bag to the night time ritual, it keeps me cool until I fall asleep.  I find I sleep better if I'm cool.
