The cleanup has started!

John got a couple loads of dirt today for our property across the street.  There is a wide unused ditch running across it and a depression dug long ago by boys for a "swimming" pool that needs filling.  The place has weeds so high now that's it's hard to see the ground!  We need to get a good dirt mover to come finish up the lowering and leveling that was started earlier. It needs more moving of dirt and more leveling!!

The cleanup next door has started.  They brought in a big roll off this morning and people showed up to clean.  I don't envy them the job, the place is a mess!!  Especially the backyard, there is 60 or so years of junk piled up in the sheds. 

 

Our wild rose is blooming again!  Only 3 or 4 flowers, but they are so pretty!  We got our start from a bush that was planted many years ago by John's great-grandmother, Lydia Hannah Wilhelm.
