Eye Exam

John hasn't been seeing as well lately, so we made an appointment to have his eyes checked.  The doc he saw was a grandson of Eb Lewis, the guy that had the cool store we used to love to wander through.  It was a huge used furniture store, and as you wandered through it, you would come upon a bottle of  water and crackers here and there with a sign that said if you were lost and hungry have a snack.  Loved that store!

 

 

The doc couldn't correct John's vision, so they made an appointment with Dr. Miles to have him checked to see if he needs cataract surgery. 

 

 

We checked at Lowe's, Home Depot, WalMart and Sears for riding mowers.  Most didn't have any or they were way expensive.  We kind of liked one at Sears but wanted to do more checking before ordering.  Found out after we got home and called to order one,  that we couldn't order from the store on the phone unless we had a Sears card! So, I ordered online and it will be delivered to our house!  Saved two trips to ShowLow by doing that!

Rained on us hard close to Showlow, then slowed down as we got closer to home. Later in the evening it rained here.
