Woke up at 4:41 and got up at 4:56. My apnea score was better last night than it's been in a long time!
I don't like having to live with this thing, they say it's helping me, but I still feel tired most of the time.
My breakfast, toast with peanut butter and jam.
We walked! I haven't felt much like walking lately, but I feel good today and we walked 2 miles!
Love, love all the yellow flowers, I think of Steve Taylor's poem this time of the year, It's Yellow Flower Season!!
Heading back home, Flat Top mountain in the distance.
I don't wear much makeup any more, too much trouble to put it on and it bothers my eyes, makes them sting and burn so unless I'm going somewhere, like today, I don't bother.
We went to St. Johns to the museum this morning to do some research on a wagon that is on display there. Someone donated a dump wagon that was used to build Lyman Dam and John is fixing it up. It was a wreck, pieces were missing and bent and he had to replace a lot of wood and figure out how it worked. There is no running gear, so he is wanting to put it on one of the wagons that are on display at the museum. (There are three of them there.) We searched the records to see if we could find who donated the wagon to get permission to use it. We found that the donor isn't listed in the records, so the Historical Society president gave us permission to use the wagon! This isn't it, but I don't have a cell photo of the wagon we're going to use.
We ate lunch at TLC, I had a green chili burger and John had a Turkey, bacon, avocado sandwich.
After lunch we drove out west of town to look at some hills. The notches you see in the 2 bumps are where they drove dump wagons to fill them. We aren't sure exactly how this worked and are still researching to find out. They somehow drove a horse pulling a scraper up the hill, gathering dirt, and dumped it into the wagon which was below.
Home again, where I had dirty dishes waiting for me.
I printed out some business cards for John,
commented on a FB post, a selfie our gorgeous granddaughter posted,
made whole wheat tortillas for supper,
took a selfie of John and me,
and finished up supper.
We watched MASH while we ate,
And had dessert while we
watched Bad Ink
While I was typing up the above post, John sold the little lawn tractor he bought from Ray a while back!
John took Melatonin and I took Magnesium to help us sleep, I tell you it's hard work being old!
Time to get ready for bed.
These are needed to help with some of the side effects of the CPAP machine, dry eyes, dry throat, and dry nostrils!
Good night all, see you in the morning.
And, day one of WITL is done!!
