Today was Eagar Daze. We went up hoping the olive oil guy would be there so we could get more oil, but he wasn't there. Should have gotten more when we were at Greer Days! I got a new hat and we got lunch, BBQ pulled pork sandwiches. They were yummy! We watched a few events, a race to saw a hole through a log, and the crosscut saw race. We've never watched the logging contests before, it was kind of fun. Wow, those cross cut saws were sharp, they sawed through a log in about 4 to 5 seconds!! Would have liked to see what they were going to use the tall logs for, but we got hot and tired of standing, so went home.
We are having a nice rain this afternoon! The people at Eagar Daze probably aren't happy about it, with the exception of maybe the people entered in the mud contest!
The rain ended up not being so good to us, I was out watching it and noticed water dripping off the light on the porch! We have a leak in our roof!
