WITL Thursday - We're Halfway through the week!

Wow, it's Thursday already!  The week is going by fast!  Woke up at 5:30.  My numbers were up again last night and I didn't sleep well, wish they'd come up with a better way to fix apnea!!  The mask just refused to get comfortable and stop leaking. I can feel it leaking, but the machine apparently can't.

Washed this part of my mask this morning.   I've tried changing sizes the last couple nights, went from the xs to s to m, and it's still leaking!  I think the pillows are stretching my nostrils bigger!

Sunrise, I got to see two of them this morning!  First one as the sun came over the horizon, second one as it came out of the cloud layer.  There were some cool sun rays!  The cell phone doesn't show it as dramatic as it really was.

My breakfast, I had the same thing again, LOL!  John ate cereal before I got up.

We walked on this road.  It was kind of spooky the first time we walked here, we weren't sure if we were going to be shot at or not.  But it is a public road, so we forged ahead.  We did ask one of the property owners and he gave us permission to walk here.

I've never seen this flower before, it was pretty.

We turned around at this windmill, about 1.5 miles total distance.

Love this place I live!

These shoes are made for walkin'

Morning break time

There is a rabbit in our fence!  It reminded us of a childhood song, so we had to Google it because we weren't sure how it went.  None of the songs we found on Google were quite the way we remembered it, but it did jog our memories and here's the way we remember singing it.

There was a little house in the middle of the woods (make roof shape with hands)
A little old man by the window stood (make binoculars with hands to eyes)
Along came a rabbit hopping by (two fingers of one hand like rabbit ears, hopping)
Knocking at the door (knock with fist)
"Help me! Help me! Help me!" he cried, (throw arms up for each "help me")
"Or that hunter will shoot me dead!" (make rifle with fingers of both hands, point, and shoot)
"Come little rabbit, come with me, (welcome gesture with hands)
Happy we will be." (make rabbit ears with one hand, rub ears with other hand)

Can you see the side view of a rabbit?

A daily chore, washing dishes.  I never fill the sink with water to wash them, I let the faucet run while I wash them with a sponge, then rinse them.

Our lunch, toast with cheese, leftover chicken and mashed potatoes.  I put my potatoes on top of the chicken and added a turkey bacon strip, John just topped his chicken with another slice of toast and ate his potatoes on the side.

AND  the moment we've been hanging around waiting for all day, the delivery of our new lawn mower.  Wow, it's RED!

Love the graphics on the truck!

John gased it up and took it for a trial mow.

Whew, what a cloud of dust he's making!

I forgot to take my vitamins again!  Better late than never, right?

Got a bit of reading done today.  I mostly read at night in bed.

More pink is showing up on these flowers.  Wish I could remember their name.

Humm, now the house says it's currently unavailable.  I wonder what's up?

Supper was a joint effort, John fried the meat and I cut up the onions, avocados and lettuce.

Taco Salad

We watched our usual shows, MASH and Bad Ink while we ate supper.  We watch a series to the end then find another to watch.  We only have Netflix now, we cancelled our subscription to the Dish Network, we only watched a few shows, it wasn't worth it.  We've missed a few of our favorites like Swamp People, Gold Rush, Little Couple and Little People, but it wasn't worth the $$ just for those few.

After supper and our TV shows, we walked to the end of the street.  That makes a total of a bit over 2 miles total walked today.

It's Melatonin time again. . .

Starting up the cpap machine and it's off to dreamland, I hope!  Did you know that people with untreated sleep apnea don't often reach the level of sleep where dreams occur?  When I started having dreams again, they were weird and scary.
